Imerovigli is a traditional village and it is the extension of Fira but is situated on a higher cliff. The name comes from the word "vigla" which means "day". In front of the village is located an enormous rock called Skaros.

The position of the village provides a great view of the area, and allowed villagers to see approaching pirate ships. Today, Immerovigli is a charming and quiet village.The area has many hotels and typical houses. There are also some nice taverns.

If you are looking for a Greek Island holiday retreat with breathtaking views, magnificent surroundings and glorious Mediterranean sunshine then the holiday resort of Imerovigli on the island of Santori undoubtedly fits the bill. Imerovigli is not really a mass tourism resort and we recommend two hotels on this delightful Aegean location.

In the most picturesque area of Santorini, Imerovigli, 1.8 kilometers from Fira town, with panoramic view overlooking the Aegean Sea and the sunrise, we have created a newly built apartment complex with luxurious rooms for 2-4 persons, traditionally furnished with all the modern facilities for a pleasant and unforgettable stay. We have named it Eltheon after our daughter's name Eleni and Theoni.
