Egypt

Egypt officially known as the Arab Republic of Egypt, is a country mainly in North Africa, with the Sinai Peninsula forming a land bridge in Southwest Asia with a population of 16.5 million people. Capital and the largest city is Cairo with a population of more than 7 million inhabitants. Temperatures average between 27 °C and 32 °C in summer, and up to 43 °C on the Red Sea coast. Winter temperatures average between 13 °C and 21 °C. Egypt's economy depends mainly on agriculture, media, petroleum exports, and tourism; there are also more than three million Egyptians working abroad, mainly in Saudi Arabia, the Persian Gulf and Europe. There are two main religion Islam with numerous mosque minarets and Christianity with the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria. Cairo is known as the "city of a thousand minarets". Egypt is famous around the world for its ancient history which include ancient pyramids and sphinx. Visitors among the pyramids like to see mosques and other historic art and architecture. The Cairo Opera House serves as the main performing arts venue in the Egyptian capital and famous annual film festival the Cairo International Film Festival. Visiting Egypt is like a time travel to ancient times. Milions of tourist every year are coming to Egypt to see and a few of the luckiest have the opportunity to enter the pyramids.
