The United Arab Emirates often abbreviated as UAE or shortened to The Emirates is a federation situated in the southeast of the Arabian Peninsula in Southwest Asia on the Persian Gulf, bordering Oman and Saudi Arabia and sharing sea borders with Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Iran. Termed emirates because they are ruled by emirs, they are Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah, Sharjah and Umm al-Quwain. The capital is Abu Dhabi, which is also the country's center of political, industrial and cultural activities. Largest city is Dubai. The population of the country is more then 8 million inhabitants. The climate of the U.A.E is subtropical-arid with hot summers and warm winters. Dubai Healthcare City is a specifically designated city for clinical and wellness services, medical education and research launched by the government to attract global companies to the city. The United Arab Emirates are the fastest growing country in tourism. The main tourist attractions are the cities Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Abu Dhabi is home to the F1 Grand Prix Race. Dubaii is famous for its manmaid islands, Palm Island Dubai and the World. Dubai has a hotel with 7 star called Burj Al Arab the worlds luxurious hotel and has the world tallest structure ever built, at 828 m. The United Arab Emirates atracts millions tourists every year.
