Bosnia and Herzegovina

Bosnia and Herzegovina is a country in Southern Europe, on the Balkan Peninsula. The country is a surrounded by Croatia to the north, west and south, Serbia to the east, and Montenegro to the southeast. Inland has a moderate continental climate, marked by hot summers and cold, snowy winters. The southern tip of the country has a Mediterranean climate. Sarajevo is the capital and the largest city of the country. The country is home to three ethnic groups, Bosniaks are the largest population group of the three, with Serbs in second and Croats in third. Bosnia and Herzegovina was a host of the 1984 Winter Olympic Games. Tourism is focused on historical, religious, and cultural aspects. The country is becoming an increasingly popular skiing and Ecotourism destination. There are many touristic attractions, cities and landmarks. Cultural places like musseum, theaters and galleries are often visited by tourists. Most popular sports are football, basketball and handball. Tara river is a famous place for Whitewater rafting, which has the deepest river canyon in Europe. Bosnia and Herzegovina has three religion Islam, Catholic and Orthodox Christianity so around the country it can be found many Islam Mosques, Catholic Churches and Orthodox Christianity.
