Montenegro

Montenegro is a country located in Southeastern Europe. It has a coast on the Adriatic Sea to the south-west and is bordered by Croatia to the west, Bosnia and Herzegovina to the northwest, Serbia to the northeast and Albania to the southeast. Its capital and largest city is Podgorica, while Cetinje is designated as the Prijestonica , meaning the former Royal Capital City. The population of the country is more than 600.000 inhabitants. Most Montenegrin inhabitants are Orthodox Christians, followers of the Serbian Orthodox Church's Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral and the Montenegrin Orthodox Church. The Montenegrin Adriatic coast is 295 km long, with 72 km of beaches, and with many well-preserved ancient old towns. Among tourists attractions are the cities such as Ulcinj, Budva, Herceg Novi, Boka Kotorska Bay, island of Sveti Stefan, Tara River Canyon, Lake Biograd in Kolašin, the Castle of Ulcinj, Miriste Beach in Herceg Novi, the Church of Our Lady of the Rocks, National Museum of Montenegro in Cetinje and many other landmarks.
